SDGs mini class lecturer (Sustainable Development Goals mini class lecturer)

Work location: offline (Shanghai is being implemented, other cities can sign up first)

Job description:

  1. Lead 7-16 year olds to learn the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and fully understand the relevant concepts advocated by the United Nations;

  2. As a lecturer, you need to study and research SDGs in depth and make courseware materials suitable for mini classes

  3. Participate in the local offline activities of the organization, teach young people, and coordinate on-site order and other work that needs to be coordinated.

Job requirements:

  1. Learning and comprehension ability: Have the ability to study and research SDGs in depth, and produce courseware materials suitable for small classes;

  2. Language expression ability: Good Mandarin level, able to communicate fluently orally and in writing; good English ability is a plus;

  3. Educational and teaching ability: Have excellent teaching skills, good at translating complex concepts into simple and easy-to-understand language and examples; education-related majors or relevant work experience are preferred;

  4. Responsibility and enthusiasm: Be passionate about education and willing to contribute to children's sustainable development education; have a high sense of responsibility and take every teaching activity and every child seriously.

Marketing Specialist

Location: Online

Job Description:

1. Learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and fully understand the relevant concepts advocated by the United Nations;

2. Learn about various projects;

3. Promote the Sustainable Development Goals and various activities, products, services, etc. on various social media platforms to maximize the understanding and participation of Chinese users in the practice of the Sustainable Development Goals.


Requirements:

1. Willing to actively engage on Chinese social media platforms and have well-developed operational experience on one or more platforms.

2. Able to produce suitable content for each media platform, including images, text, and video;

3. Recognize and align with the values of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and understand the organization's initiatives.

Job Description:

1. Prepare portfolio documents in both English and Chinese;

2. Prospect potential cooperation institutions worldwide;

5. Assist in developing cooperation projects with external partners.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English and Chinese, native English speakers preferred;

Graphic Designer

Location: Shanghai/Online

Job Description:

1. Responsible for completing various creative design tasks for operational projects, including theme poster design, illustration, and presentation beautification;

2. Learn the UN visual identity guidelines and fully understand the related concepts of the Sustainable Development Goals advocated by the UN;

3. Understand business needs, complete design work accordingly, and propose creative and professional suggestions;

4. Ensure the quality and timely completion of design work.

Requirements:

1. High aesthetic standards, self-demanding, creative, with strong teamwork spirit, flexible, and quick to react;

2. Proficient in using computer software and familiar with design and layout tools, especially PS, AI, AE, etc.

3. Able to produce content that meets UN visual style requirements;

4. Illustration skills are a plus;

5. Experience in commercial design preferred, with majors in Fine Arts, Advertising Design, or related fields.

UNITAR CIFAL Hubei Marketing Department Editor

Location: Shanghai/Online

Job Description:

1. Under the guidance of the chief editor, maintain UNITAR/CIFAL HUBEI's social media accounts;

2. Participate in editorial meetings, propose interesting and relevant topics aligned with the SDGs and UN's style;

3. Content creation, including written records and photography/videography, covering UNITAR CIFAL HUBEI events across urban and rural China and abroad;

4. Post-production work, including typesetting and video editing, and publication;

5. Interact with social media platform users, such as replying to messages;

6. Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of each content piece and produce corresponding reports.

Requirements:

1. Familiar with major Chinese internet social platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, and Douyin;

2. Fluent in Mandarin and English, capable of writing in both languages;

3. Able to produce content that aligns with the official UN visual style;

4. Passionate about public welfare, with broad interests and strong interpersonal skills;

5. Photography, videography, and post-editing skills are required.

Sustainable Development Event Specialist

Location: Shanghai

Job Description:

1. Participate in the planning and organization of sustainable development events, such as UN Headquarters study tours, Dunhuang desertification prevention activities, and children’s road safety courses. These events primarily target youth and are in the form of experiential activities, offline and online courses, exhibitions, and forums;

2. Learn the UN visual identity guidelines and the Sustainable Development Goals, fully understanding the rules and concepts of the UN;

3. Conduct pre-event planning and site exploration for sustainable development events, and participate in developing detailed event plans;

4. During the implementation process, assist in communication and coordination between partners; during the event, perform reception and management tasks.

Requirements:

1. Passionate about public welfare;

2. Must be over 18 years old;

3. Proficient in Mandarin and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.

4. Strong collaboration skills, proficient in PowerPoint; strong communication and organizational abilities, enjoy cross-cultural exchanges;

5. Highly responsible, ensuring every detail of the implementation is executed successfully;

6. Able to adapt to challenging environments and manage physically demanding tasks as needed.

7. Driving ability is a plus;

Basic Requirements for Interns

- Must be at least 18 years old;

- Proficient in Mandarin and fluent in English;

- Positive, optimistic, eager to learn, and hardworking;

- Able to work in a multicultural environment;

- Capable of adapting to challenging environments as needed (for certain external postings).

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;

- Internship duration must be no less than 3 months and no more than 6 months, with at least 3 days per week;

- Must meet the location requirements for the position (on-site or remote).
